Compliance API

The Compliance API is the integration surface of Evda — an AI-powered compliance platform that helps compliance teams run KYB, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and individual checks dramatically faster, by automating the analysis, the client outreach and the paperwork around every case.

What Evda does for your compliance team

  • AI document analysis. Once a case's documents are in, Evda's AI reads every document, extracts the companies and people involved (roles, ownership, ID and contact details), and cross-checks the facts against each other — including catching documents that belong to a different entity than the one under review.
  • Evidence claims, built autonomously. The analysis produces a register of evidence claims — verifiable statements about the case, each marked as confirmed by the evidence, not yet confirmed, or conflicting between sources, with links to the exact places in the documents that support them. Re-running the analysis never destroys the work already done: new findings are reconciled with the existing evidence.
  • AI triage report. Officers start from a structured report — blockers, concerns, missing items and conflicts — instead of a folder of PDFs, and can export case reports as documents for internal control.
  • Automated client follow-up. When something is missing or contradictory, Evda generates a secure external link where the case subject explains discrepancies and uploads missing documents in a guided conversation — no account needed on their side. Their answers and files are analysed and folded back into the case evidence automatically; email notifications and reminders to the client are handled by the platform.
  • Your own rules. The platform follows your team's internal instructions — a risk-scoring matrix, an internal policy checklist, any custom screen. Once added, they run as additional checks on every analysis across your organization and produce their own evidence claims.
  • An AI copilot on every case. Officers work each case with a copilot that answers questions about the evidence, edits and creates claims on request, launches analyses and follow-ups, schedules Google Meet calls with the case parties, and applies the final approve/reject decision — every action explicitly confirmed by the officer.
  • An immutable audit trail. The entire compliance process is strictly audited: every event — uploads, analyses, evidence changes, client follow-up activity, AI actions and final decisions — is recorded in an append-only journal that cannot be edited or deleted, ready for regulators and internal control at any time.
  • Full transparency. Case statuses reflect real progress automatically (from awaiting documents through analysis and client follow-up to the final decision), and the team gets in-app and email notifications — including reminders when a case sits idle.
  • Team-ready. Multi-user organizations with roles (admin, analyst, MLRO, read-only), mandatory two-factor authentication, and per-organization API keys with read or full access.

What you can do via the API

  • Create KYB / EDD / individual compliance cases and list the organization's cases
  • Retrieve full case details, including the parties extracted by the AI (companies and people with roles, ID documents and contact details)
  • Upload case documents (registry extracts, charters, IDs, statements) and list a case's documents
  • Start the AI analysis and poll its progress and results
  • Follow each case's status through the whole lifecycle — up to the final approve or reject decision, which your systems can read back through the API

The deep review stays with humans — just much faster: your compliance officers pick the case up in the Evda dashboard exactly where the API left it, resolve what needs human judgement, and close the case with a decision.
